The Olympus 150-400mm f/4.5 TC1.25X ED IS PRO’s big selling point is its zoom. Its 300-800mm equivalent focal-length range and rounded nine-blade diaphragm make it great for sports, wildlife, and nature photography. The constant f/4.5 aperture isn’t useful for low-light shooting, though, so you’ll probably want to stick with outdoor-lighting conditions for best results. Built-In 1.25x Teleconverter. This lens has an integrated teleconverter that lets you extend your reach to 187.5-500mm (375-1000mm equivalent) with the flip of a toggle switch. Because this teleconverter is built into the lens, it’s already optically matched to the lens and features the same excellent weather sealing. Optical Image Stabilization. The 150-400mm’s built-in six-stop optical image stabilization system minimizes the appearance of camera shake, allowing you to shoot hand-held and in other unstable conditions without worrying about your photos’ sharpness.
